My Train Metro app for iPhone and iPad

My Train Metro allows you to view New York MTA Metro-North Rails real-time train departure and track information, similar to what you see on the electronic bulletin board in a train station. As of this writing, no other app gives you real-time Metro-North train track information.

You can find out which track the train will be departing from and if it is running late, how late it is. This is particularly useful in large train stations or when you are running late to catch your train. You can check the track and time information in advance, as soon as it is released by MTA.
